Peter Steere
Managing Partner
Peter is Managing Partner at Lumo Advice. Peter is a Swedish national, with 25 years’ experience as strategic advisor to corporate and organisational management groups.
He specialises in strategic counsel and has extensive experience from international reputation management, leading complex corporate communication projects, risk and issues management, crisis communication, and public affairs.
Much of Peter’s work has been concentrated on highly regulated industries that are dependent on public trust and opinion – particularly energy, the automotive industry, defence & security, industrial groups, and organisations and advocacy groups. Peter has worked to deliver impactful change, build trust, and develop new strategies and purpose to support commercial initiatives.
Prior to starting Lumo Advice, Peter was a London-based partner at Kekst CNC. He previously served as chairman for MSL EMEA, based in Paris. His previous positions include CEO of JKL Group in the Nordics, MD of JKL Brussels in Belgium, and MD of JKL Copenhagen in Denmark. Peter also worked 11 years in Brussels as an advisor in public and European affairs.
Working with globally diverse teams and clients, Peter has drawn inspiration and gained experience from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures. Over the years Peter has been an entrepreneur, created consultancy firms in Stockholm, Copenhagen, and Brussels, and served as an independent investor in several start-ups.
Peter has studied Financial Economics at Handelshögskolan, Gothenburg University. He also studied Political Science and International Relations at Gothenburg University and further at Bristol University, UK
