Lars Danielsson has a solid career as a political advisor. He has supported both Prime ministers Ingvar Carlsson and Göran Persson with his expertise on foreign policy. Prior to his new role at Lumo Advice, Lars served as Sweden’s Ambassador to the EU, between 2016 and 2023.

Few people have greater insight into the policy processes of both Brussels and Stockholm than Lars Danielsson. As a diplomat and government official he has been of great importance to Sweden in the world and not least in EU. With his 15 years as Secretary of State and foreign policy advisor to two Prime ministers, as well as diplomatic missions as Sweden’s Ambassador in Seoul, South Korea, and Berlin, Germany, Lars has extensive experience and a deep knowledge of the political arena at various levels.

During the Swedish EU Presidency in 2023, Lars played a key role in leading the Swedish negotiations with all member countries. His network is beyond comparison.
